1838 – 27th July – Baptism of first daughter – Ann Beard. Ann died the same year.
1839 – 15th September – Baptism of second son – Henry Beard.
1841 – Census – Ann Beard living in Little Chester with Thomas (aged 5) & Henry (aged 3).
1851 – Census – Thomas Beard registered as a butcher, living with wife Ann Beard and Thomas (aged 15 – Acre Farmer) & Henry (aged 10).
1855 – 14th September – Thomas steals a horse – a second stolen horse found in his possession.
1855 – 16th October – Convicted of horse theft.
